Embodiment & Movement Sessions
These sessions focus on your present moment experiences of being in your body. Sessions look different for each client as they will be adapted to meet your unique intentions for connecting to, and listening to, your body.
My approach to facilitating movement and embodiment practices is trauma-sensitive and mental health aware, I deeply respect the intersectional complexities, nuance and uniqueness that can come from being in our bodies. Together we collaborate to find movements, practices, and a pace that feels manageable.
Often these sessions integrate:
mindful movement, stretching and trauma-sensitive breath work
somatics and postural exploration
nervous system regulation skills
self-soothing and stress-relief practices
psychoeducation on stress and activation
mapping resources and practices for a felt-sense of safety
Embodiment sessions stay in the present moment experience, we don’t go into your past or history. This means that you might be working with another therapist alongside these sessions. Alternatively, some of my clients like to alternate between embodiment sessions and therapy sessions.

Fees
50 minutes sessions $140 online & in-person
If your preference is a shorter session duration, please reach out and we can discuss what suits you best.
Sliding scale rates are available upon request for those who require them. This needs to be discussed in advance of sessions, and will depend on availability in my quota of subsidised places.
